Kids restore New Zealand is a prgoramme to help young people get involved with environmental issues. This is your opportunity to show leadership by identifying an environmental challenge in your community and working with other groups to develop a plan to make change.
Projects will be funded through the Air New Zealand Environment Trust and you are able to apply for a project to be carried out by your school.
This could be replanting a waste area, developing a wetland park, cleaning up and regenerating a local stream, planting a forest of native trees for the future or developing an area to be free of predators. A local beach may need planting to stop erosion or a hillside could be replanted to protect other trees from falling. Or it could be as simple as cleaning up a local park where children can play.
